The DRI probe has revealed that one prime suspect, Nadeem, around four months ago asked Pappu to look for someone who could manufacture mephedrone for him against a hefty commission.

Pappu had then introduced Raju Singh to Nadeem for the work. Raju had told Nadeem that he would manufacture mephedrone with the help of Keyur Patel, who has worked in the chemical industry.

All the accused have been arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, DRI said.
