Five people were killed after a speeding car, allegedly coming from the wrong side, crashed into a truck in Kot Ise Khan of Punjab’s Moga district on Monday.
According to the police, all five occupants of the car died on the spot. The deceased have been identified as Happy Singh and Gagandeep Singh of Ferozepur and Saraj Singh and Gurpreet Singh from Moga. The police said the fifth victim was yet to be identified.

The police said the Verna car was speeding on Amritsar Road early on Monday and another vehicle was reportedly following it. The car crashed into a truck coming from the opposite side.
J Elanchezhian, Moga, Senior Superintendent of Police, said of the five occupants who were killed in the accident, two were booked in the alleged rape case of a minor girl.
The police added they are yet to find out who was following the car and why.
