While the team did not get a ‘Golden Buzzer’ in the season, they did get monetary support from judges Kirron Kher and Badshah. Both of them came forward to hand cheques to fund the training of the students. Manoj Kumar said that the money is as important as the trophy for him as it would help him give better facilities to the students.
“I come from a humble background. Every kid in the institution comes from a humble family. It’s not easy for us to survive and train ourselves with limited income. Also, this sport require a certain kind of diet, which needs extra money. I am so thankful to the judges, who recognised our needs and came forward to help us,” he added.
:The enthusiasm, determination and passion of Abujhmad Mallakhamb Group is commendable,” judge Badshah said in a statement. He added, “It’s very heartwarming to see how they have transformed their dreams into reality and never backed down despite the odds. They serve as a significant source of inspiration for the youth and have shone a deserving spotlight on the art form of mallakhamb. I hope this serves as a reminder to everyone to embrace authenticity. I hope everyone realises the importance of preserving and representing our traditional art and culture on a national scale. My best wishes to the group for their future endeavours and I hope they reach the pinnacle of success.”
India’s Got Talent Season 10 was judged by Shilpa Shetty, Kirron Kher and Badshah. The finale episode also saw Karan Johar gracing the stage. IGT aired on Sony TV.
