Hirdesh Katheriya, Additional DCP (Central Noida) said, “The service lift was going to underground level (-2 level) from the ground floor. Apart from the staff, some medical equipment was also in the lift. It suddenly fell around 8 feet. We will find out how this happened from the maintenance team.”

He further said no inquiry has been initiated. “We have not received any complaint from the victims so far. However, the lift must be maintained from time to time. We will talk to the management of the hospital,” added Katheriya.
