A migrant labourer was shot dead by suspected militants in Pulwana in south Kashmir on Monday.
The incident occured in the Tumchi Nowpora area, said Kashmir Police. Security has been tightened, and the area has been cordoned off.

The victim has been identified as Mukesh, hailing from Uttar Pradesh, the Kashmir Police said.
